Pretty sure the "recommended" settings are for stunning visuals. Here, 4GB RAM pretty much means the system must be running at 64bits, along with a resolution of 720p @768MB VRAM. Most likely the graphics settings can be bumped down to "PC standards" (ie)1024x768 and run on a Core2Duo.

I've so far gotten:
High: 4291 @ 18372ms
Low: 5799 @ 10999ms.

Oh yeah, I'll probably be starting off in Gridania as a Miqo'te or even Ryodigan...

I don't remember, but I think I posted somewhere in the other derailed thread lol. I'm running around 4k low 2k high. I'll probably just keep high settings but run 720p so it's still real smooth with other shit going on.

Seems 5k is on the upper end for the 1080p run. Some i7 930sOCed at 4.0 with the 5870s hit that.

That score was from the new system I just built: i7-960 w/ GTX 480. Once I get another fan for the H50 I'd like to try an OC up to 4gHz and see what I'd get. I don't think I've seen anyone get over 6k when 8k's the max.
