So.. got it 9ish monday night played til ... oh 2ish lol, not the whole time... cause of roomie and I switching off til about the 6th set.
Had to get used to the timing of the notes, less forgiving than GH2...and the fact I couldn't alternate pick
which really pisses me off still to today.
The set list is incredible as expected
lots of fun to play.
The battles are kind of ghetto and annoying.. Tom morello was mad easy... Slash was a little harder but nothing special... Lou... the final battle was incredibly annoying.
Sight read 5* a lot of the songs up to the 8th set. 1-5 are pretty 'easy' if you beat GH2/80s on expert without much difficulty. 6 theres a jump, 7 a bigger jump, and 8 a huge enormous unforgiving jump in difficulty lol. There are a few sleepers that are randomly hard in the first 1-7 sets but nothing to sweat, maybe 3* instead of 4 or 5* lol
8th set...
One was amazing. Original...which suprised me cause its metallica lol..Number of the beast 4* sight read...easiest of the set. Clover of Dover I think is in that one.. honestly I forget the 3rd song in the set lol but aced it lol and moved on.
Now...Slayer...Fuck man lol. Raining blood was the song that stopped me from beating it the first night XD. So went to bed after like 20tries haha and got bet a 12pack that I couldn't beat it last night. Went in 3rd try destroyed it haha.
Then the battle -.- this was annoying difficult. The note pattern was really fun to play and the song is cool...just the battle made it retarded since he doesn't miss...But finally beat him and gotta say its all luck of the draw with the powers..just keep going til you get a good combo and can win lol.
Through the fire and flames....the song I've been waiting to play since forever...since I heard it on a modded ps2 lol. the intro.. .is no joke lol. Hardest part of the song which sucks cause the song is awesome lol.
I put it in practice before I went to bed and got like 89% Gonna try when I get home or before salvage tonight XD
Any experiences? Haven't played co op yet >.< thats next on the list haha Then go back and try to 5*/Full combo stuff...missed 2 notes on bulls on parade sight read XD
