Here's a piece of advice from an old man (in today's Internet terms)... The next time you run into her, introduce yourself, talk to her for a couple of minutes, and then ask her out for a cup of coffee somewhere on campus. That's it in a nutshell! If she turns you down or gives you an excuse, ask her for her phone number. If she doesn't even give you that, walk away and add it to your queue of life's experiences.

The major obsticle most guys run into is all the negative thoughts (road blocks) you generate in your mind when you think through the infinite number of scenarios that might occur. For each negative outcome you imagine, it makes it that much more difficult to make that first move.

So my advice is: To hell with the possible outcomes and make the move anyway!

In one night at a night club, I asked 23 different women for their phone numbers, each within two minutes of meeting her. Out of the 23 women, I obtained four phone numbers. All four numbers worked, too! They weren't fakes. Within the few days afterwards, I had fun with each of them. Though none of them turned out to be long-term relationships, what matters in these cases are 1) it gets easier with every woman you approach, 2) I had fun, despite no long-term relationships were created, and 3) women who turn you down -- it's absolutely nothing!!!! There are women out there who absolutely don't find you interesting. It's something we guys have to deal with.
