Another beauty of losing an AF due to AFKs...

Despite the rough start, we did recover well. Good job on that. Also--thank you, Shinku, for taking over pulling.

Just a reminder to everyone: if you feel sleepy or need to go afk toward the end, please put your hourglass in bazaar. Or, just let us (Kira & officers) know and drop hourglass.

Just want to apologize for falling asleep Fri. night. I guess I was more tired than I thought.

This is kinda serious for someone who attend every dynamis for 5 years in HH, and finally lost a pieces which is really kinda useful, and rare. Its more like a reward than a good piece of good gear. I think mosh deserves everything in HH but not this.

I dont hate jovo tho, but infact im hoping to drive this msg into everyone's head on behalf of kira.
1. if your tired, dont come to dyna
2. if your tired, but still wanna play, put ur hr glass in bazzar, no one will "Purposely" eject you unless we have to.
3. if you need to afk, kindly say so in /l, no one will tell you "sorry you cant", headcount purposes
4. really really really sleepy mid run should just toss glass

2 weeks ago, mosh was tired and went to bed, he tossed and afked outside dyna. Now 2 weeks later someone didnt do the same thing and he lost his coat. This is really really unfair to him. There is mutual trust in this LS to begin with, and hence till now we dont have any drama players ninja lotting, and kira didnt enforce the "glass in bazzar upon entry" rule.

However being said, wat done cannot be undone, i just hope we suck less in this department and be more responsible.

Yes, Mosh deserved his coat, but the loss of it was an unfortunate mistake (people do fall asleep while playing as we all know). The extreme negative responses I'd read on chat after that was just not needed. The relic armor will drop again and again.

Was staying away from this discussion because I'm biased on this particular matter but I just had to facepalm here.

Read Art's post, he's not blaming Jovo (neither am I) but we both think putting the glass in baz (for everyone) should be an enforced rule. I've always thought that should happen and I have been trying to remember to put my glass in baz each and every run starting like a month ago. Things can happen: fall asleep, emergency afk, die in a crappy spot, afk for too long, etc etc. Why lose AF over something that could be prevented with a 1 gil bazaar buy?

Saying it is ok we lost it because it will drop again and again is bullshit. It was an unfortunate mistake, yes, but it was one that could have been prevented. Making Jovo or anyone feel bad because of it doesn't fix things; everyone should look at what happened and try to prevent it in the future.

I never said it was ok to lose AF2. I never said we shouldn't bazaar hourglass--in fact, I even suggested it in my first post. What I am pointing out is that there is no need to get so negative about losing an AF2, because it is something that will drop again.

And to clarify further before more misinterpretation occurs--I wrote "np" toward Jovo because I know he'll try to prevent it from happening again, since this is like the first time that I can recall that happened to him.

Jovo wasn't the only person AFK/asleep at the end of the run. But, he's the only one who stepped up and said "I'm sorry--I was at fault." Yevna responded to that positively, since such good attitude should be commended a little. It's beyond silly to think she thought losing the relic armor was somehow "right".

You can go "F*ing blah blah sh*t" a hundred times when bad thing happens, or find the problem, encourage people to fix it, and move on. No need to be all angst about it.

Oh, and those people who don't care as much as Jovo or Yevna, likely wouldn't read this thread or remember its key point, so probably a good idea to repeat "Put your glass in bazaar for 1 gil once we enter!" in LS chat at the start of the run, sans all the emos.

So, I lost something I wanted but it's not ok to be "so negative". Hm, interesting. Actually I thought the majority of my post was positive. The only negative part was the part directed at your comment, ie directed at you.

Let me point something out. I. Am. Not. Mad. At. Jovo. The posts in here (mine and Art's) had nothing to do with Jovo. But they had everything to do with a rule that should be implemented.

The entire purpose of mine and Art's posts is that we should not be pointing fingers at people, but instead looking at why it happened and how we can fix it. So here, I'll bold the part that annoyed me.

The point is, it shouldn't happen sometimes. It shouldn't happen at all. We should have a baz rule.. this isn't the only time someone has lost AF because not everyone passed in time. And unless this rule is implemented and people start bazzing glass, it is GOING to happen again.

2 people didn't pass. Xelahime and Jovo. Xela passed before the 30s remaining hit. Get your facts right before attacking me and defending her. Commend her for saying "it's ok, it's only lost AF2" is beyond moronic. Is she allowed that opinion? Yes. Commend her for saying it? No, I'm not going to give your sister a medal for having a smile on her face and for being positive, that's not how it works.

If you are referring to what I said on LS, I said "fuck Xarc". You'd be pissy too if you were extremely tired and forcing yourself to stay up for the run, only to lose your AF2 at the end because of something that could have been prevented if we had a "baz glass" rule. I'm not mad at Jovo, I swore nobody out, I did not point fingers. I agree, stuff like that DOES happen, but that doesn't mean it SHOULD happen.

Did you read any of mine or Art's post? I mean, the parts that weren't directed at your sister. We are both pro that baz rule but it is out of our hands whether it becomes official or not. I wasn't even going to respond to this thread, Art had said all I would have, but then I saw her post and it ticked me off. She even added the:

Just to take a stab at me. Art knows I haven't been to every single run. But I'm glad she stepped in to correct him and show more that her replies to Art and myself had nothing to do with a glass rule and had everything to do with the person who actually lost the AF.

Not gonna post anymore in this thread, we've gone through this dance many times. It's just going to go in a constant loop because neither of you read posts and both of you completely miss the reason behind said posts. I stayed objective in my first post, I kept personal crap out of it. I revised it many times to take out personal things because I knew it's just give you two more ammo to shoot at me.

It's not about being negative about lost AF, it is about why it happened. Why was the AF lost? Someone didn't pass. Why? They were tired and passed out. Is it that person's fault? No, I've been there, I know how it can happen.

If we had a baz rule could someone have bought the glass? Yes. If someone bought the glass would we have lost the AF? No. Welcome to the point of the thread.

You misunderstood; the comment about negativity wasn't about you. It was about what some other members said on the LS chat. No where was there a "Mosh was too negative." comment. Check again.

No one said you were mad at Jovo. And, yes, I apparently got my facts mixed up; I was probably watching the monster or something instead of monitoring the loot pool to the very last second. Mistakes happen, and I have my share of those. That, though, in no way diminishes how Jovo owes up to his mistake.

No one was attacking you, Mosh.

Any AF dropped in the last 5minutes is expected to be lost IMO and is a matter of luck that people are still awake/ not afk at the end of the raid.

As for 1gil hourglasses. Not a feasible plan. Someone could always have a duplicate and not work. People who go apeshit one day could buy another person's glass out of whim. Too much drama will come out of this.

if the person who put 1G bazzar and yet have duplicate in his bag is easily detected.....

when needed, we'll buy his/her glass, and if he dont port after 30 sec, yes he/she is trying to be funny and deserve the boot LOL

as for saying AF will drop again and again, yea maybe 2-3 years later you'll never know. But hey, thats still considered "dropping again and again".

it happens when people sleep bla bla bla every run is true, i dont deny at all but hey 3 times we lost AFs that i can remember (RDM in bastok, DRG head in xarc, and PLD coat last week) are all because SOMEONE is AFK or ASLEEP. Hell sure this doesnt happen every mother weekends but it did not happen to your AF and im sure you can say "no big deal" etc

in another words, no one should be able to post here except for mosh and jovo, and if you wanna post, i hope u post suggestions, rather then "its ok", "no one is at fault", "dont blame jovo(no one is blaming him anyway)" bla bla bla

if you think putting 1g bazzar is VERY DIFFICULT and not feasible, well i hope you can come up with a better solution because as far as i know, putting 1g bazzar is common in almost every dynamis LS that doesnt take any chances. We did not do it because we trust each other's responsibility, but now? i dont think so. Im just saying with dynamis current system, 1g bazzar is the most feasible solution

and guess what, me and mosh ONLY SUGGESTING you to put when u think u will afk long time, or asleep ON THAT FINAL MOMENTS. we didnt even suggest to go to the extreme of bazzaring upon entry, but since jovo happen to be "at the right place at the right time", in another word, being unlucky for him that this has happened, i hope he will do it in the future, incase it happen to him again(god knows how coincident life can be) and im sure jovo dont wanna be under fire.

lets all stop farming and afk in the last 5 mins then. this is what i dicypher from your above message and seem to be the most feasible/available plan.
