Is dell's laptop hardware pro..pri..etory? lol do I have to buy a ghetto 5$ laptop fan from them forlike 1000$? Is it hard to install if there is some cheap fan I can buy? Tired of laptop overheating random -_- lol

For dell they most likely will ask you to ship it back so they can do it or send a tech to do it for you at your house.

So I have an HP laptop. When my screen first started to malfunction, we called HP. We wanted to see if it was still under warranty. The guy we got in customer service in India told us they have no information on my laptop model in their system, it must be too old and no longer under warranty. After that, all he would say was that they could put a new screen on it for $900. So we hung up on him. I can buy a new laptop for that much.

My laptop was only 11 months old... /sigh tech support.. it sucks when you call tech support and you know more about computers than they do.. lol
