SAM: Haubergeon vs Hachiman Domaru

Haube: STR5 DEX5 Atk10 Acc10
Domaru: STR8 WS-Acc8

Wouldn't Haube still be better for WS? I'm trying to buff up my Taru SAM for lv70. By lv72 I could have +48STR A_A

If you sub thief acc don't matter. Go all out str since sam ws modifier is 75% STR. If you /war well I think Jse is still better for the weaponskill but maybe haubergeon to build up tp.

I dont know 3 str isnt worth it at all plus you dont get that attack 10.. but if you rich like sygus i would go invest all +1 version. OOOhh im not a SAM ~

I still think the best Sam armor is Byrnie +1 but it's not really affordable anymore.
Also I don't know much about Sam either.

I haven't seen a Byrnie+1 for ages... I was saving up for one, but unfortunately that money went to speed belt...

I think I'll be sticking to the Haube, the +atk is much more effective than str8 alone.

An investment that I will make tho will be for the Hachiman Kotes:

Hachiman Kote: STR4 LE:Atk10 (when TP>=100)
Ochiudo's Kote: Atk20

Simple answer: get both, lol. For general meleeing the haub will give you better results but for WS hachiman should give better results. I use my Haubergeon+1 for meleeing and use Hachiman Domaru for WS. If using /war sub I doubt you'll see much of a different between either for WS but for /thf I find it noticable.

As for Hachiman kote...I've never used them as I have enk bracelets (str+7) which I use for WS and saotome kote (atk+10) which I use for meleeing and I don't like the idea of TP related latents.

And no! Byrnie+1 isn't the best armour for sam unless all you plan to do is exp on VT mobs all day.

Hmm... Saotome Kote while building TP (and for Med use), switch to Hachiman Kote for WS A_A

Could use Ochiudo's Kote to build TP but Space is PRECIOUS!!

Yea, saotome kote are sexy. 140-160% TP per meditate. :D (if used with myochin kabuto too)

I dunno the price of Hachiman kote but if it's similar to the price of enk bracelets I'd advise you to get those instead if you plan on using saotome kote for TP building. No point macroing +4 str if you can macro +7 for the same price range. When I got my enk bracelets they were about 500k but knowing the way the economy is going they've probably doubled in price so whatever works with your budget and space saving style.
