In Her Jar

#1 Post by hanyou »

Hey guys~ For a long time I have danced around the idea of making a Einherjar shell but didnt really know the ppl or have the talent pool that Id like. But now between a few ls that I know, I think we can give it a hell of a shot. The two ppl organizing atm would be red and myself (possibly more once all is figured out)

At the moment, it looks like the best days to do this would have to be Wed @ 6PM and Sunday around 4PM ( I have salvage at 6pm) All EST.

Ideally Id like to have of course 33 players with 3 mules so we can do Odin every two weeks... But I think we can be ok if we get around 30 or so... We'll have to see how well we do etc... Perhaps not at first but as we get better and learn how to win these as a group it will get easier. T1 and 2 are pretty much a joke... However, some of the T3 such as Behe or the goat in the chair are extremely difficult at times... Even more so than Odin himself.

Im not exactly sure how it will be funded yet... Either everyone can throw down (its extremely cheap... less than 10k prolly) or I can fund the first one and so on till the drops repay me and then can pay for actual runs. Either way I dont care.

If we are gonna do this thing, Id like to have:

2 PLD at least
2-3 BRD
3-4 RDM
2-3 WHM
Lots of heavy dd like war and sam
1-2 BLM for some ES sleepga if needed
For Odin fight, I would like to have some SMN and some RNG... also a few SAM/THF to dump tons of hate on PLD so RNG can fucking unload on Odin.

Ill get more into detail if the shell actually does get its feet off the ground.... anyhow let me know what you guys think and / if you want to join.

Hm I guess I can try it out. Are you going to be asking members from other LS to try and join too? Dunno if we could get the numbers with just iMog.

I'd be interested~

The early starting time is a little pushing it for me depending on work... 5cst means I'd have to make sure I leave at/before 4:30 which isn't a huge deal 90% of the time. And since only one work day/week I think I could do it.

I have a question about entry requirements seeing as I've never really done Einherjar. Does regularly being able to only make one run a week screw up the rotation of gaining key items for entry to other wings?

No

Long Answer:
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....maybe

Don't need key item for Wing 1-3.
Need minimum 1 key item from each Wing (1-3) to access Valgrind (Odin)

hmm ok looks like it will be wednesday for sure instead of thursday... And yes, not just imog, open for all ppl, i dont think imog even has 30 ppl lol. I would like the first run (if we can get the ppl) to be Feb. 11th Wednesday. Red and I are going to come up with a points system (something very simple like 1 pt for being ontime 1 pt for the run) and a website or excel sheet of some sorts...

Well for the first 9 runs missing 6 specific zones wouldn't hurt you if you wanted to enter Odin fight. However after the mules get their key items, a cycle starts up where you only need to play 1 of each wing in order to enter odin. Allowing Odin to be fought at the end of the 2nd week or end of the forth week, (depending on how many times you go). So attendance becomes very important (later). Thats what i recall from Arth's group.
