Lets look at the mobs that a fully merited well geared blm will still gets resists on that are fought 'often'.

Tiamat
Khim
Cerb

...kirin and sky gods but these are freaks.

The possible sample size is just way too small to get any real data.

It was as obvious as day and night though on tia and khim when I fight it.

And 5mab doesn't really matter since no real amount of mab will cover up a 1/2 resist. And 4int does help resists, but AF1+1 hands have 3int so its some what meh lol. Yea I know I have 5 int merits too and that may effect it as well but.. its extremely difficult to get exact comparison during a fight like this.

So its all eyeball really. I've "Converted" a few blms to want morrigan's head/hands more now though.. so they see it and I see it lol.

so just realized I was misinterperating the addendums...

They are a lot more powerful than I originally thought.

I used to think that you would activate it, and get to cast 1 spell from the new list of spells you get then you'd have to use another charge etc. But.. just use 1 gem and you get access to them til you change arts or lose the art, 2hrs it seems, zoning or dieing, and maybe some super dispells.

So yea, maybe I'm just an idiot lol, but wow thats kind of crazy.

I didn't even know Odin dropped a polearm. So I looked it up. .... And it's barely better than Thalassocrat lol.

Thalassocrat
DMG: 94 Delay: 492 HP +10 DEX +2 VIT +2
Enhances "Resist Virus" effect
Additional effect: Impairs evasion

Valkyrie's Fork
DMG: 95 Delay: 492
"Double Attack" +3%
"Store TP" +3

Nice to see that SE made an Odin drop that is barely better than something you can buy off AH. And for high eva stuff, it's questionable if Valk is even better. So, knowing this, I looked up the rest of Odin's exclusive drops.

The BLU sword is barely better than an AH one. Though the Valhalla Body/Head look nice..

Odin's drops are pretty crap tastic.

The pole arm just looks awesome, though it is still better than that AH thing. 3%DA is nothing to shrug at. And 2dex is kind of lol..I think anyways. Well drgs on high evasion mobs is lol.

The blu sword is meh cause the proc rate is only like 10% I hear. If it were really high that'd be great to randomly drain mp.

The armor... is kind of dynamis only lol. Since its really the only real place you'll be pld/war and need DR that would come in use...and the slow wouldn't fuck you over.

Einherjar in general was just an alternate method of getting 2004 gear. The new stuff is pretty crappy or there is just better out there that you can get if you're even able to do einherjar.

Salvage was the 'non raiding' alternative to king gear, barring ridill.

The new abj sets are pretty garbage. I don't hear anything good about the melee set, though I haven't looked myself.

I've only looked at the mage set which is pretty situational gear and does not merit the amount of effort it takes to obtain any of these pieces. The body is probably the best elegy body. And its a small upgrade from nashira body for drain and aspir.

The legs that people ooo and ahhh over are pretty garbage. 4mab 4m.acc is not any better than 8int really. Minor minor upgrade if at all depending what you're nuking. And most likely if you need the m.acc you're better off with the 8int unless you're a 5int merited taru, and even then its debatable.

The feet... are the "best" accuracy feet for enfeebles. Best by 1, or 2 if you HQ, over goliard. And Morrigan's is pretty overshadowing anyways. 4-5mnd for 2m.acc is debatable.

And each of these wonderful minor upgrades come at a min cost of 5,000 ampules. Body might be more. Though.. if you do einherjar consistantly you'll have plenty.

So einherjar is for a.body, n.legs, and e.body lol.

Skipping altep since there were 41 people there today.. tried out xarc tigers. Pretty good. Few resists here and there but its all capped xp and pretty basic camps. Stand wait for bst to turn and then pull pet. No running around like a crack head at AC lol.

Sublimation..rules lol. Its just free mp haha. Sublimation>Light arts>Regen>Dark Arts and go about your way haha.

I hate AC. Freaking mobs have wide ass zone range, plus you need some mountain climbing gear to trek those hills.

Lv27 currently, can't wait to get out of AC -_-

You don't even need to switch to light arts to regen yourself, it won't make that much difference on a spell like that. Depending on how many nukes you need to kill the mob you could even use a drain instead of regening yourself constantly.
