This is my gift to you guys. I might've failed in a sense, but I hope you can still get good use out of this information in my absence. Having left csb I'm going to pursue alot of things that I couldn't have done before, and I hope you'll come understand my decision. I'll aways be around to talk with though, and I figure its better than quitting :s.
Chapter 1 :: Ancient Flames Beckon
- Chapter One, Part One :: The Rites of Life
-- Zone at Delkfutt's Tower
-- Zone at Upper Jeuno
-- NPC Monberaux in the Clinic at Upper Jeuno.
Head to Delkfutt's Tower in Qufim. Once you zone into Delkfutt's Tower you will recieve your first cut scene and offically begin the "Chains of Promathia" Expansion. After the cut scene head to Upper Jueno, a cut scene will occur. Go to doctor Monberaux's and speak with Monberaux.
After the cutscene you gain the Key Item "Mysterious Amulet," completing your first mission.
- Chapter One, Part Two :: Below the Arks
-- NPC Rainhard (H-6) in Ru'Lude Gardens.
-- NPC Pherimociel (G-6) in Ru'Lude Gardens.
-- Start Promyvions! Check Shattered Telepoints and start Promyvions at the Crag Of Dem, Crag of Holla, or Crag of Mea. (Suggested Order).
Speak with Rainhard (H-6) at Ru'Lude Gardens and then Pherimociel (G-6) to gain access to the Promyvions at each Crag. Go to either Konschtat Highlands (I-7), La Theine Plateau (I-8), or Tahrongi Canyon (I-6) and check the "Shattered Telepoint" you will zone to the "Hall of Transference." Check the "Large Apparatus" to get a cut scene. When the cutscene is over your level will be capped at 30 and you will be transported to Promyvion - (Holla,Dem,Mea).
--NOTE: You are now fixed to the Promyvion you have entered! In order to start another Promyvion you need to use the "Large Apparatus" again to cancel your current Promyvion. Upon completion of a Promyvion you may start another, and do not need to cancel your appointment with the "Large Apparatus.
Lv.30 Cap Begins here.
Emptiness, the Promyvion zones, contain unique monsters that range from EP to IT. Thinkers, Gorgers, and Seethers being zone-specific, and the hardest of all Promyvion mobs. All mobs are true sight. Make your way to each Memory Receptacle and defeat it in order to advance to each island. Some Receptacles are fake, and will not spawn teleporters. Promyvions have four floors, the fourth containing the "Tower of Dem, Holla, or Mea"
When you finally reach the "Tower of (Dem, Holla, Mea)" enter the BC by checking the "Web of Recollections" Only a party of six can enter the BC at a time.
Promyvion-Dem BC mob: Progenerator
Difficulty: **
Items: Food
Melee: Hi-Potions
Mages: Hi-Ethers, Yagudo Drinks
Recommended: Terroanima, Psycoanima, etc. Icarus Wings
The Progenerator is a straight fight until after 50% of its HP is depleted an Offspring will spawn from the Progenerator. Have your tank do its best to keep both mobs attention if it spawns. Focus all your power on the Progenerator and ignore its pet. The pet will die with the boss. The Progenerator regenerates so don't be afraid to lay down hell on this mob, as its Regen will outpace normal damage.
You recieve a key item after defeating it and get ported out to Konschtat.
Promyvion-Holla BC mob: Wreaker
Difficulty:***
Items: Food, Holy Water, Poison Potions
Melee: Hi-Potions
Mages: Hi-Ethers, Yagudo Drinks
Recommended: Terroanima, Psycoanima, etc. Icarus Wings
This mob has a plethora of special attacks that will test your parties ability to adapt in battle. Its special attacks include AoE Sleep/Curse, HP Drain, and its Trinary Abosprtion can Absorb 3 buffs (food, shell, protect, etc) which then buff the mob itself. Tanks and attackers should not be buffed to counter the Wreaker's abilities. Take poison poion to counter sleep, holy water for uncurse.
You recieve a key item after defeating it and get ported out to La Theine.
Promyvion-Mea BC mob: Delver
Difficulty:****
Items: Food, Antidotes
Melee: Hi-Potions
Mages: Hi-Ethers, Yagudo Drinks
Recommended: Terroanima, Psycoanima, etc. Icarus Wings
The Delver is the cruelest of all Promyvion mobs. Its strong Poison and reset hate attack does huge amounts of damage. This can be avoided by Utusemi or kiting the Delver. Mages should be mindful to stay far, far away from the Delver as its AoE Carosel attack does massive amounts of damage and will one-shot most mages. Show this monster no mercy. At 50% (before it spams Carousel) go all out on it with two-hours like Hundred Fists, Eagle Eye Shot, Astral Flow, and Mighty Strikes and end the battle as quickly as possible.
You recieve a key item after defeating it and get ported out to Tahrongi.
- Chapter One, Part Three :: The Mothercrystals
Congratulations on Completing the first chapter!
Lv. 30 Cap ends here!
Chapter 2 - The Isle of Forgotten Saints
- Chapter Two, Part One :: An Invitation West
You'll meet three new troublesome charecters in a cut scene that teleports you to Lufaise Meadows as you defeat the final Promyvion boss. Once you've gathered yourself and the remains of your party head west to (F-10). Be careful as the only mobs that should aggro will be Orcs and the occasional Gigas if your below 50. Just stay hidden and make your way along the meadows. Eventually you'll cross a ravine and come to the Tavnazian Safehold.
Enter the Safehold and you'll be treated to your next cut scene.
- Chapter Two, Part Two :: The Lost City
Return to the first floor of the safehold, go down the stone ramp to enter the bottom floor of the Hold. Proceed to (I-7) and open the Sewer Entrance doors to receive another cutscene. End the cut scene by accepting the challenge. The next part of the Promathia missions is a lv.40 cap, so please prepare yourself.
- Chapter Two, Part Three :: Distant Beliefs
The Aquaducts are full of Fomor, Diremites, and Taurus type mobs. The latter of which is true sight. Fomors can have true sight depending on your amount of Fomor hate (you can reduce Fomor hate by killing Gigas and Orcs) otherwise use sneak to get by Fomor. Diremites also aggro and can be avoided by sneak.
An alliance is recommended of 12-18 is highly recommended for the Aquaducts, although you can get through with six as a bare minimum (read: extremely difficult). Everyone in the party should bring a healthy stock of items including Holy Waters (alot of these), Hi-potions, and a couple of yagudo drinks for mages. Holy Water is extremely important for those who're new to Taurus type mobs. The ability "Mortal Ray" casts Doom on the affected target which gives the victim 10 seconds to use Holy Water or have Cursna cast on them. Cursna and Holy water will not always work, so they must be spammed. Mortal Ray is a "gaze" type attack, so if you turn your back to it, you can avoid it completely. Another thing to watch out for is AoE poison from the Taurus, which does 10-15 damage per tick.
The Minotaur spawns at (J-3) on the second map, and be warned, the Minotaur has a huge aggro range, and will draw-in the entire alliance once it spots any member. This is not a BCNM style fight, so be buffed, and be ready at all times. Now that you've killed the Minotaur you've got to look for Nag'molada.
If you have a THF in your party/alliance, make sure to have him/her purchase some Thief Tools before hand. You'll have to pass through an Iron Door at (G-8) which is locked with a Bronze Key. This is a kew you'd have to camp Fomor mobs to get otherwise. After you manage to get through the Iron Door, avoid the Fomor parties and get to (C-8) and check the Wooden Ladder. A cutscene with Nag'molada will occur.
Going to bed for now, I'll see if I can finish this chapter through the week.
