Treasures of Aht Urhgan Missions

#1 Post by Seres »

Before heading out to doing these missions I would recommend you to do the Lure of the Wildcat Quests in the 4 nations; Bastok, Jeuno, Sandy, Windy.

Mission 1 - Land of Sacred Serpents:
Head over to the Salaheem Mercenary place at (I-10) in Aht Urhgan Whitegate.

Mission 2 - Immortal Sentries:
Here, you're going to want to head to a Staging Point for Assault to deliver these supplies. Think of it as a supply run pretty much. There's about 4 or 5 different Staging Points you can go to. I went to the Mamook Staging Point, so I can tell you the way to that one (If I can figure out how to do more Staging Points I'll provide more maps)

Sneak and invisible is a must for these areas! The final zone you need to watch out for the dragons roaming about. Rivine Site A-01 was good practice for avoiding detection
After giving the guy his goodies he'll let you use the teleporter and you're back @ home without having to run :D Talk to Naja Salaheem a few more times and you'll get 150 Imperial Standing Points, become a Mercenary, and learn about Mog Lockers! w00t!
Now you have the ability to get 'Sanction'. This is pretty much the Signet of the new areas. Sanction and Signet don't stack btw, :x
From here, go poke Fubruhn at (F-11) in Al Zahbi to learn more about Mog Lockers and how to use and upgrade.

Mission 3 - President Salaheem:
Head over to Commissions office (K-10) and talk to Rytaal. Here he'll lecture you about Assault and answer any questions you may have.
Now you have to wait.... till next day Japan time. (ugh!) Next you're gonna have to talk to Naja again, but you're gonna have to zone out of Whitegate and back in again in order to get the CS.

Mission 4 - Knight of Gold:
Talk to Cacaroon (G-11) near the mog house in Whitegate. Deny him the first time (you wanna keep those Bronze pieces!) and his 2nd option is to pay 1000 gil! Next head over to Walaha Temple (K-7) and you'll get a CS. After that, head to the tea house at (K-12) and you will get a CS as you approach. Answer what you will to his questions.

Mission 5 - Confessions of Royalty:
Run your butt to Sandy and talk to Halver in the Chateau d'Oraguille.

Mission 6 - Easterly Winds:
Once again till next day in Japan to continue (bleh!), then head to Ru'Lude Gardens in Jeuno. Approach the Audiance Chamber and you'll get a rather long CS. In the end you'll be rewarded with 10 Imperial Bronze Pieces

Mission 7 - Westerly Winds:
Head back to Whitegate and go over to the Tea House for another CS and an Imperial Silver Piece. After that, talk with Naja Salaheem again and you will be rewarded with a Silver Imperial Piece.

Mission 8 - A Mercenary's Life
Currently the end of the line for the missions...
My best bet would be to head out and do Assault! If anyone who has Assault access is interested in going, let me know! [/quote]

Update:
You actually don't have to fight Lamia's for the key
Image
sneak / invis yourself to the point on the map and just click it. No need for a quest or anything
This is handy for manuvering through Arrapago Reef and getting through the locked gates

One time use onry! Mine just broked ; ;

Also as far as doing more of the runs to the Assault Staging Point areas, you can do them whenever, no quest needed. Here's a map for the Azouph Staging Point:

2/5 done :D

I can't take full credit for everything I've written. I've just read about it throught out the internets, done it, and posted it back here with my little criticism. Like the maps :X I found those else where but got blank maps and redrew them so they look cleaner. Here's the post where I've gotten my maps from: http://www.ultimals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3994
Every time I visit that post they change their maps and they're getting harder to read >,<; I'm gonna do another one in a few, I'll post back later.

Another Staging Point Done:

I actually got stuck on this map at that blue door... I think it's a weight activated thing like the platforms in Quicksand Caves because it said this when I touched the lever:
Seres begins pushing on the lever!
Seres's hand has grown numb...
Seres can't hold on for much longer...
Seres releases the lever.
In the end I just escaped out of that area... which is ok cause it takes you to the zone where you need to go anyways: (Scribbled in purple where I would guess to travel)
Image

This is drawn from where I pop'd after escaping... I do not know where the actual zone line is if you actually travel the proper way. ; ; Either way, good luck to you and remember your sneak/ invis!

3/5 done

btw.. after all missions are complete, and you complete the first 6 assault missions, you can get the quest Private First class, which requires you to trade that mithra boss bitch a imp wing, after that is complete to unlock the tier 2 assault missions

There's 6? I've only seen options for 5...

Zone - NPC
Assault name
Objective: LVL: PT Size:

Periqia - Lageegee
Seagul Grounded
Objective: Escort the Prisoner LVL: 70 PT: 3-6

Ilrusi Atoll - Bhoy Yhupplo
Golden Salvage
Objective: Recover the figurehead LVL: 60 PT: 3-6

Lebros Cavern - Famad
Excavation Duty
Objective: Remove the obstructions LVL: 50 PT: 3-6

Mamool Ja Training Grounds - Isdebaaq
Imperial Agent Rescue
Objective: Rescue hte Agent LVL: 60 PT 3-6

Leujaoam Sanctum - Yahsra
Leujaoam Cleansing
Objective: Remove all threats LVL: 50 3-6

I believe those levels are the minimum level to do them. Mobs will adjust to the hight level person (so if one person is 75, all should be otherwise may have a hard time).
They're also timed. I believe they're 30min. Anyone who can confirm will be appreciated :D

I'll see how time goes and may try a few... will be busy next 2 weeks or so with finals coming up @@;

Sorry it's taken so long to post, here's the remaining two points. These paths may be different then other ones you may have seen. This way may be longer, but there's no imps to worry about aside from the little cave in G-5 when going to Ilrusi Atoll.
