How to start Chocobo Raising
There are 2 NPCs in every of the 3 starting cities chocobo stables one takes care of your chocobo the other explains everything about them.
NPCs
VCS Chocobo Trainers(Trade them a chocobo egg to start, you set up chocobo plans with them)
- San d?Orian stables: Hantileon
- Bastokan stables: Zopago
- Windurstian stables: Pulonono

Chocoguys(help you understand the process of chocobo raising)
- San d?Orian stables: Arvilauge
- Bastokan stables: Gonija
- Windurstian stables: Kiria-Romaria

Time
It takes about 1 month(Earth time) before you can ride you chocobo.
>>>Egg hathces in 4 real life days (96 hr)
Theories:
The warmness of the egg is how fast it will hatch.

Color/Breed
up to know all we can do is speculate and make some theories

Theories:
-The egg warmth involves breed. 5 different "levels" of warmth, 5 different breeds. Coincidence? (you might say but there are 6 breeds, well there are the thing is Rounsey can hatch out of any egg since it is the most common)

-Where you raise your egg will reflect breed: (makes sense no?)(http://www.playonline.com/pcd/topics...detail.html)
Sandy = Destrier(yellow, black), Courser(yellow, red)
Bastok = Palfrey(yellow, blue)
Windurst = Jennet(yellow, Green)
Anywhere = Rounsey(yellow)

-Randomness, any breed any color anywhere

Naming your chocobo:
You can choose 2 names from a list of available words, with a maximum combination of 15 letters.
Names cannot be changed once they have been chosen.

/sigh

Red just can't stand to let a woman have the last word. Even if he has nothing relevant to say, he'll throw out some bullshit anyway.

And I liked having the last post on this topic... made me look important! Thanks for bursting my bubble and reducing me to nothingness. /whimpers :cry:
