Limsia's region outside of town is enormous.. I'd assume so for the other two as well lol. Not sure if there's a regional map or anything like that either.

Also...Goubues are awesome lol. Ul'dah is a pretty interesting place so far. I'm actually kind of torn between here and Gridania now XD.

I saw someone had a signature of a taru that had a circle around her knees and said "KNEES!" it was quite amusing.
Diggin' the stash though. It's weird viewing the new models of characters. FFXI taru's looked like children and seeing them now with knees and stashes just seems... odd.... lol.

Yea seeing a "grown up" taru is very weird haha.

Outside of Ul'dah it's.. very merph mountains. Not as barren as gusta was but still get that kind of feel.

Ul'dah itself is pretty cool place though. Definitely has a "inner city" type vibe going on.

Poison is so strong both here and in Gridania... I'm sure over in Limsia too actually since these chigoe things were over there but never got poisoned. Probably a new thing. Crawer v2.0

Artificial difficulty level has definitely been ramped up a bit from CB lol. I don't remember ever dying but i've died plenty of times already in OB lol

I plan on starting in Ul'Dah, it seems the more Goldsmithing/Mining friendly place.

I definitely want to go explore in OB and see how the cities are connected (if its possible).

Nah that's a leve mob. Same leve in Gridania too. Pretty sure the early leves are generic with maybe a few specific. But so far they're all kill X or collect Y. I think you can pay for support at the guilds. But.. you can also do that at the first camps and I think another place in town. Other towns have NPCs that sell materials as well. Not really sure what the point of the guilds are yet.

Actually...there are like guild points for all jobs but idk how to get them lol. But there were npcs for the guilds that weren't in town...so back to square one lol.

Ul'dah definitely seems like it'll have a lot of mining points, but oddly I didn't see very many. I saw more in Gridania lol. I'll try to traverse as deep as I can go in Gridania tonight and see if I can wander to Ul'dah. Getting to limsia from either city would be kind of lol on foot since it is a sea based town.. lol

I've read that there is a ferry that goes from Thanalan to Limsa.

I've also read, that you get guild points as a reward from some guildleves, then you use the guild points to buy some job abilities.
