iMoogle - An FFXI/FFXIV LS (2003 - 2014)

So two things to note this time around:

1.) From what I've read (and maybe this is just how it is in beta, don't know if it will be the same in retail), but all races are created equal in FFXIV. So there are no inherent stat bonuses based on the race you choose.

2.)There will be surnames in FFXIV.

With that being said, what race and surname will you guys choose? Since stats don't matter, I'm actually leaning towards being a Hellsguard Roegadyn. As for surname, I have no idea what to use for Drakkan.

Haven't really given much thought tbh. I'm more or less winging it once I get the game.

As for no differences between races, that's kinda sad. Kinda hope they fix that. The stat diffs in XI is what made gear choices interesting as I had access and played all the races lol

Not sure if its an actual surname or a "second name".

Gear will also not be job specific supposedly. So that will open up a lot of gear options.
