- A measure to prevent servers crashing under certain conditions has been implemented.

Side bonus

We are aware of an issue wherein users may be unable to receive “Tell” and character names may not be displayed in party and linkshell chat mode while the server load is high, for example right after maintenance.

Investigation into this issue is in progress. Should you experience a similar issue, please re-log into the game.

SE apparently isn't differentiating between a server side update and a client side update. Both are being called VUs so some may not come with an attached torrent like this one.

Guess this is a result of the handful of server crashes yesterday. Nice to see them figuring things out rather quickly.
