As most of you have most likely heard, my account has been taken over by someone who has somehow found out my personal information and changed it to their Credit Card information - making it impossible for me to retrieve it back since PlayOnline "needs" the current Credit Card it is listed under in order to release such personal information. I am trying to make this point short and to the point so if you have any questions feel free, but basically my Account ( Cynic + Mule ) is gone. I have called PlayOnline 3 times and they basically said "I'm sorry" which totally pissed me off. A years work and solid payments and they cannot do anything, horrible ; ; I have been questioning starting over and making a new Taru-Female named "Ksenia" on Ifrit again with the intentions of taking Summoner up, but I that I am still thinking about because this can happen again possibly, so im trying to see if its worth the risk. I miss you all and I hope that I make my return to Vana someday and rejoin with <HH> and continue to do what I love, which is be with all the greatest people in the world on a game. Thanks for everyones support and I'm sorry if this has caused any troubles in the HH listings.

That's bullshit SE can't do anything about it. You've been paying with your CC for a year plus you've got your registration codes to prove it's YOUR account. Keep calling until you get it back, I refuse to believe they can't do anything about it. Any idea who did it?

if u gotta start a new, make sure NO ONE gets ur information AT ALL, online friends can be very close to u virtually, but never trust them no matter how close, virtually, u are

RL friends, or relatives, perhaps but it depends really..the only person so far having my acct info is Ahkow, hes my cousin. If my acct is gone, most prob hes gotta die in my jome one dynamis day

You'd think that physically having the booklets with your registration codes would be more than enough to prove that you are the actual owner, especially since once the codes are input, there isn't a way to see them(as far as I know). Regardless, the fact that you've been paying under one name and had your name on your account for over a year and ALL of that information suddenly changes, they can't do squat? That's bullshit.

i think you can change the cc info but you cannot change the name of the acc. owner...

can you think of anyone thats less trustworthy who you have given your acct pwd to?

it sucks to hear what happened to you.. i would kill someone irl if my acct is stolen like this..

Calling them over and over will only make my Long Distance bill go up. I'm fed up with PlayOnline and their lack of customer support... I guess its game over for me.

omg Cynic. ; ; I dont know what to say, i'm just so shocked, horrified, disgusted at these turn of events.

I would spam maybe the GM cusomter service if you still can access POL, email them. Do anything in your power. Things like this just shouldn't be able to happen. And its total bull that they "can't" do anything, I'm more than positive there's somethign they can do. Its probably that they won't do anything.

You have registration info, id's, your originall CC number, all sorts of proof that you are who you are. I can understand them being reluctant but they have to do something about it. At least disable the account of Cynic altoghether if its been obtained fraudulantly.

Also on a similar note, there was a trojan keylogger on allakahzam forums not too long ago. If anyone visited that site recently I would suggest giving your computer a scan, then changning any passwords to any sort of accounts you have accessed recently. Including FFXI if you ever type in your password in POL.
