Suggestion about holding events

#1 Post by Omegadata »

Hey all...it just seem like the Mission forum gets lost a lot.....so here is a couple of suggestions

1. lets set standard "Set Event time" for events every week...so we know when we are needed and can set time aside for it...this kinda random event time gets confusing and gets lost a lot amongs the many post in here.

2. have a section for "Event Suggestions Forum" and "Set Event Forum". once again to make things lets confusing. if this new sectin is set up for "SET EVENTS", i suggets only the admin can start post in it....to make things uniform and easy to follow.

3. if we have a "Event suggestion" forum and a "Set Event" forum, we should have a officer (not kira, just cos i don't want kira to take care of every single thing in the ls..he does too much already, unless he of course wants to do it  )

4. anyone can post in "Event Suggestion Forum", if enough people needs it or willing to help...the designated officer post it in the "Set Event Fourm" and would goes into the weeks "Set Event Time"

5. i suggest all big events be on saturday nights (NA) and smaller ones like a certain 2 hr NM pop that can't be solo be on wednesday night (NA) and of course if people need a certain 24hr NM, get pop time and we can set up time during the week for it

6. also lets try to keep Event suggestion post clean of jokes, i know i'm guilty of this...that way its easier to track who needs and who can help without going through 20 jokester post ...hehe

I've tried the Set Events Forum once but it didnt work too well. People we're either posting in the wrong spot or just weren't updating it.

Instead I rather have ppl post up event time, or at least update it on their own when enough people apply. And when it's complete, updated the title to complete.

Either way sounds good. Just need to make sure the event holder is willing to check up every night/day to see how the event suggested is going to go ><

I agree that we need to have a specific day of the week that is for LS major events... no PT or whatever so that way we can make sure that we have enough helpers and also participants.
I say Saturday night from like 9pm - like 3am in the states is LS event time and all members should gather to do things together.
Lets it be a bit more organzised from now on.

Maybe with the Set Event forum make it so ppl cant reply to the post but only to use it as a reference to the upcoming events? so its looks less messy n confusing~
