NPC shit seems expensive compared to CB. Starter weapons are like 660 gil where in CB they were 60. I guess this is more geared to a slower paced retail.

Menus still seem slow as ass...

Seems like you can edit the keyboard layout..but I can't figure out how lol. I want my menu back to the - on the keyboard not on the numpad XD

Macros only have 6 lines per command.

Nah, but it does seem to be limited to 10 lines with 80chars per line. CB iirc it was unlimited so idk what they're doin

Why are stars in the auto translate.. lol Because they look different in other languages? Some stars only have 4 points?

Seems NPC names are in the auto translator as well and items you come across like in 11.

If you played keyboard on 11... it was pretty natural to move, move camra, and navigate the menus.. in 14 it feels kind of awkward. I guess though cause I was used to compact keyboard style where asdw moved jkli camra and if a menu was up it'd move the menu with shift+jkli doing camra lol.

So.. when you're soloing and you get loot.. it doesn't fall to your inventory it falls to your loot bag then your inventory after a while.. lol. I could see if your bag was full like in 11.. but this just seems kind of odd.

Skill points seem random like skill ups in 11... -_-;

Seems like there are gonna be target icons. Says I can only use them in a party which kinda sucks but hopefully they'll be functional and not just for looks aka can bind keys to target specific icons lol.

Sorry Red, haven't been able to play much. Did get in this morning though, got through some of the opening stuff for Gridania (will agree, MUCH nicer then Limsia, but then again after watching the benchmark 4billion times it would) and logged. Busy working on the wiki over at FFXIVCore. Will try and get more play time in tomorrow.

In the mean time I'll upload a snapshot of me new Miqo'te (which btw, do you know how people have changed the color of the tip of the tail?)

I'm making a taru and gonna throw him over there. Taru features are pretty slim =/ Though this taru's face reminds me of nobou...

edit: know if we can go from one town to another in the OB or if those routes are closed off lol. That's gonna be quite a mission at the start..getting everyone a pearl asap lol
