Requirements:

Lv.40+ job and equipment for level cap.
Riverne - Site #A01 access (end of Ch.2)
Willing to give UP TO 3-4 hours.
A reraiser.

Objective:

Defeat 10 Notorious Monster Damselflies that drop loot.

Battle plan:

Since attacking 1 fly links them all, no matter which you pull or where they are, we will have a PLD pop Invincible and provoke one. A BLM will then use Elemental Seal + Sleepga. When they wake up, they will attack fast and hard on the BLM so please watch said BLMs health healers. DD will use /assist Tank and proceed to kill them as fast as possible 1 by 1. An alternate strategy, if we get many SMN, is to have them all use Astral Flow after the first sleepga to obliterate them. We will all bring reraisers in the chance that they wipe. They don't just attack, but also cast spells like Aero II and Slowga.

Loot:

I've only fought them once, so I am unsure of this... but I believe that they always drop Dobson Bandanna's. Please someone correct me on this if I am wrong. For Jaeger Ring's and Voyager Sallet's, you may only lot or the other. If more drops than what is needed, you may then lot.

Comments:

Please be ready to go at 5pm est. Waiting blows. This isn't that hard, they are just regular NMs. The problem is the number of them. If we do this right, we can kill them in minutes. If we die, we will all reraise and try again. Oh yeah, and if I'm not online, it's cuz my internet was cut off. Seriously.

edit: please note, if you have defeated the Minataur and have gone to the weird room in the Library and got the cutscene, you do indeed have access. You just need to talk to a few NPCs.

I read many jp wedsites to find where I could get this, but the information was all wrong...

I tried to finish lots of PM quests and camped some new NMs, never got this ring...
