I smell bullshit. Even with the micro drive, you'd still only have 4 gig of storage space. You could however, use a TV tuner and have it stream video from your TV to your PSP but you wouldn't really be playing, only watching what's on your TV at the time.
The PSP is hardly more powerful than a PS1 let alone a PS2 and we all know how crappy XI can be on the PS2 at times.

It's 100% playable. The game is not installed on PSP, it's stored in PSX.

not only FFXI.. basically can run all ps2 games on it, the role of PSP is like a receiver... but I agree it hurts eyes lookin at that screen lol

Yeah, which is what I just said. The PSX acts as a TV Tuner and streams the video from the PSX to the PSP.
