SMN Skill (Up?)
That's not true, Nayoz. The elementals spells they cast are only dependent on level not skill. The time in between when they cast is MP-based and is improved by the SMN AF2 pants. Mine casts I think every 150 or 200 MP, not sure. They do some pretty good damage in Limbus on other elementals especially with AM, they'll do 500-1000.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

I cannot put my finger on it now

Not true on either accounts. Yes, most of the time the both of you are right but not in all cases.

the tier IV magical bps are based on pettp as opposed to the physical bps which don't do anything to pettp and no one knows what they're affected by (even merits and gear that claims to enhance it are speculated.)
smn skill is commonly associated with (and may have even been mentioned in some interview with developers tho, concrete evidence is still missing to support the subject) spell int rate -, and elemental avatars casting time. The level of spells that your elemental avtars do is not based on smn magic skill but what lvl your character is. For example. a lvl 75 smns light spirit will do pro IV because at 75 a whm would have that spells, however, a lvl 30something's light spirit would only do pro II or w/e the cap is for that lvl.
Just to recap, summoning skill has no (or has never been proven to have any) effect on the following abilities: summoner casting times, enhances avatar's bps, enhances avatars performance (atk, acc, etc), increases potency of elemental avatar's attacks, increases AI of elemental avatars.
Also, there was rumors floating around about how SE was going to make some of the avatars bps based on summoning magic skill. for example: a smn with capped magic skill's earthen ward (stoneskin) would last longer/be more durable than an equal summoner with less magic skill.. however, I don't believe they've implimented this patch yet and/or if they ever will...
hope this answered any and all questions.
