Just having certain subs don't affect enmity afaik. Your diaga+initial action vs his Crapponball does though. Can't say anything for sure though without knowing all the circumstances.

But trust me, I talk with many many idiots who agree 100% on what they believe and don't listen to reason or anyone telling them differently. There's a tard on alla who says Wind Staff is good for Sneak/Invisible because if you are being attacked and the mob misses you (cause of the eva on the staff), then your spell will still go off. He also said you fail if a WHM needs an RDM, even if it is for tank pt. He has like 10k+ posts too.

theres is a base enmity per job that is added when you do your initial action that puts you on the mob's hate list.

15mins or so after I stop talking to him, he brings it up in ls chat...aight cool

so main pld that I've talked to before, smart guy usually knows whats up. Has a brain.

Hes asked his opinion about it and he says yea it feels that way and his best example was in sea with one of the nins. He says that his first voke will pull over the nin's because of this base hate.
Course I ask if the +enmity in gear is the same when clearing stuff, like balls. Says yea.

Later in the conversation hes like, usually nins have no +enmity in the gear they kill balls in, tp gear so yea. Then he says he has like +5. ok.. that throws the even enmity in gear out the window...and even later he mentions he has enmity merits...So yea brilliant.

And even if they were theoretically equal, whoever voked second would keep it until another action changed the value... steady decay etc... so yea, my opinion of them and their knowledge of this weird enmity is practically this..

gogo rdm/drk rdm/whm or drk/rdm whm/rdm and just repeat kaeko's tests and see who keeps it lol.

but yea, that made me atleast the first guy I met in LB that I liked was smart and pretty much laughed at the logic.

I tested that personally a long time ago. The conclusion? Sub/Main means crap.

the pld had both +5 in gear and the merits and said they were equal when the nin had 0 lol


funny thing about kaeko, he was brought up in the conversation, being that hes from odin too.

So wait, the PLD has merits and equip. NIN has nothing. But the PLD thinks his voke is stronger than the NINs and disregards merits/equip?
