With the weather warming up and the sun's rays bathing Master's bedroom in toasty goodness, all I want to do is lie down and--Zzz...Zzzzzz...
Whoops! I almost brought shame to the entire Moogle race by sleeping on the job, kupo. The reason I'm here is to tell you all about this year's Egg Hunt!

The Egg Hunt is coming soon to all three nations, kupo! The goal during this festival is to collect "initial eggs" that will be distributed by festival moogles. These special eggs are inscribed with letters, which when put together, spell out certain words and combinations, kupo. Some combinations may even snare you a prize, so collect these eggs and trade, trade, trade! You can trade not only with fellow adventurers, but with festival moogles in other nations as well.

For this year's festival, we will be accepting posts about your egg-citing early episodes in Vana'diel, before you had wings to fly, kupo. You may have now matured into a fully grown songbird, soaring high in the sky, but it wasn't so long ago you were just an egg, eagerly waiting for your hour in the sun to arrive. Send us a post about one of your early episodes to share with fellow adventurers, be it a touching tale, a sad story, or a failure so pathetic, you just had to laugh!

We would also love to hear from those who are still in incubation, kupo. Feel free to write about your dreams and aspirations in the wondrous world of Vana'diel. We look forward to receiving episodes from all of you, kupo!

With the commencement of this year's Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza, citizens of all three nations have burst out from their jubilance-inhibiting shells! There is honestly nothing more fun and satisfying to us moogles than to assist and guide our egg-hunting enthusiasts on their way, kupo!

So, Dearest Master...
What ingeniously innovative strategies will you employ to hunt for eggs this year?
Will you be tempted to trade with your friends?
Buy them in bulk at bazaars?
Or perhaps, simply seek charity and shout for favor from random strangers?

With the following fabulous furnishings available as prizes for collecting the right combination of "initial eggs," we trust all our adventurers will not lack for motivation. I wish you every success in your hunt, kupo!

- Melodious Egg

First 3 letters of your name => egg hat thing

then can pick from there

Nation eggs, need first 5 letters of controlled region by the nation you want. Get last year's egg thing if you don't have it on you first, so get it off npc.

Jeweled egg, same as nation eggs, but need to have both eggs.

Trade first five letters of a region under the nation's control if you want the furniture eggs. You'll get the previous year's eggs if you don't have them in your mh & inventory.

For example: (Windy) You would use S A R U T.

They said something about if you're in a party with someone and you talk to the moogle for your free egg or w/e you'd get the first letter of their name.. x2 if they have egg hat..so I can hack this with a mule? lol

now which region has the most of the same letter...
