For those that are reading/following the news on Oil, the government began conducting investigation on Dark Money trades of Crude oils. Apparently this has caused immediate affects as the prices of oil has tappered off. Barrels are down to $122 today. Mid last month they were just under $135/barrel with a near linear trend of increasing daily prices.

With the drop to 122, this won't necessarily mean price at the pump will lower right away as it is nearing summer and the demand due to travel will go up.

Officials do say that the proper average cost of a barrel should be at the $100 range. But to lower the current price from 122 to that is still a pipe dream. "The rich get richer." Not necessarily by legal means.

I just read in the paper that natural gas cost has gone up too.. but we just haven't noticed since it's warm outside so no one is running their furnance. The article I read said it was up 89% since January from one supplier in this area, and the other supplier's price is up 109% since January. So, the article was projecting our heat bill this winter to go up 150% from last winter.... unless the price drastically goes back down.

lol... gonna need a loan to pay for heat this winter!

Those are factors, but the main factor is the rich people illegally buying crude oil stock forcing the price to jump on a daily basis. The dollar has gotten weaker but not to a point where the barrel should be rising $1/day. Other contributing factors are things such as it being travel season and more drivers but that statistic consistent every year.

The sad truth is rich people feed off the middle and lower class. Always lol. This is happens in FFXI as well *snicker* lol
