Starting Stats

To my surprise, the stats listed on the char select are different. Here's a list of them all. They not only change based on race, but also clan.

Race Clan: Str, Vit, Dex, Int, Mnd, Pie
Resists: lightning, fire, earth, ice, water, wind
Pie (Piety) is m.acc.

Hyur Midlander: 16, 15, 14, 16, 13, 16
15, 16, 15, 13, 16, 15

Hyur Highlander: 18, 17, 15, 13, 15, 12
18, 15, 14, 16, 13, 14

Elezen Wildwood: 14, 13, 18, 17, 12, 16
14, 12, 17, 14, 15, 18

Elezen Duskwight: 15, 14, 15, 18, 15, 13
15, 14, 17, 16, 16, 12

Lalafell Plainsfolk: 13, 13, 17, 16, 15, 16
17, 14, 16, 14, 15, 15

Lalafell Dunesfolk: 12, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18
15, 17, 18, 12, 12, 16

Miqote Seeker of the sun: 16, 15, 17, 13, 14, 15
12, 18, 15, 15, 17, 13

Miqote Keeper of the moon: 13, 12, 16, 14, 18, 17

Stat Allocation Point Requirements:
0-40 - 1point per stat
40-80 - 2point per stat
80-128 - 3point per stat
129-??? - 4point per stat

I currently have 100pt allocated to an element and it seems to still take 3pps. Guessing maybe at 120 it might goto 4..

Seems SE went to the more traditional idea of elf compared to the strong elf in 11.

Though I don't think these starting stats will matter much since we can allocate our own stats anyways.

I kind of expected this as well. Seemed kind of silly to me that a lalafell and Hyur should start with the same stats.

I might see if base HP/MP is any different later, but I'm not sure it will be since current job level determines that.

According to a forum post, seems like there's a softcap of 79stat points at level 19. The person had a lv 19 glad and allocated 80 points of vit and noticed no increase in hp or defense.

Might be something to consider depending on the type of gears we can equip and allocating stats.
