I'm considering upping gold to max... But I my current cloth skill is 68 (Craftman). If I were to skill Gold past 70, would it decrease my Cloth skill? Or would it only demote my cloth rank?

I only have gold past 60, but the way i understand it is like this:

You can get any/all crafts to 60. From lvl 60 you have a total of 40 lvls to split as you wish among any/all crafts.

So you can do like this:
Gold 100, All 60
Gold 80, Cloth 80
Gold 70, Cloth 70, Smithing 70, Cooking 70

As far as your situation goes kira, say you keep Cloth at 68, you could get Goldsmith to 92 without losing any lvls, but at 92.1 Goldsmith, you Cloth would go down to 67.9. It would continue till Gold 100, Cloth 60.

Again I only have gold above 60, so im not 100% sure, but that is how i understood it.

I was just wondering cuz I think one of the patches mentioned that Rank Level would be lowered. I thought _maybe_ you could keep your earned levels, but will cap off only by switching guilds and downgrading your rank, but maintain your points when you go back to your old guild. Just a thought.

I don't think can switch like that ar. . . Poor kira lol. Just keep going with cloth and make a mule your gold maker!!!
I'm upping Cooking to finishing so can make food for me and cute during EXP PT

i can think of better things to do with shinning cloth^^ can you imagine lappi watching you cook fish using that cloth kira? i think lappi would have heartattack. lol
