omg a friend of mine just let me read this journal......

Some people have been going up to me and saying "There is no point in getting a Kraken Club for the LS" It is no use... Just a toy. But before you go on, realize that BTL's other goal is to obtain significant equips. Kraken Club is one of these significant equips. Secondly, Kraken Club is not a Toy. It is a weapon of Mass Destruction. As demonstrated by Elmola DRK/WAR on Genbu, Kraken Club in this case took over 50% of Genbu's health in 30 seconds. (About 1000 damage per 3 seconds). Another Demonstration is when Muteki used Kraken, Sniper +1's, Peacock charm in EXP parties allowing him to skillchain almost 2 times per mob. This was also used in Dynamis- Beudacine with 24 people... and yes they cleared the map with 24 people. But I highly beleive that you need such mass destruction in order to be effective. (Muteki spamming slugs every mob 1-2 times). On another note, kraken club shows its great effectiveness not only in normal scenarios, but in Ballista too. So do not complain that we bought a Kraken club. With Several RNG's in the LS that wield Kraken Clubs, Dynamis would be no problem.

i knew tat kraken wasn't a toy like many others have said ;x when i was still playing i saved up alot money for this thing but the 2 jp bst who were killing it almost everyday just didnt get drop or someone else was faster / offered more then me to buy

vs hnm? hahaha that is kind of noob thing to do. use kraken against something like fafnir and you gonna give him enough TP to spam his wing WS - you gonna die in about 1min.

1000dmg/3 sec? say with me... one... thousand... damage... every... three... seconds.... c'mon tekno, you really believe that?

unless that journal is referring to the video that's been online forever with the drk/nin using kraken on adamantoise. he use soul + blood + kraken and beat the shit out of turtle. good dmg? yeah, pretty good. but if you watch that video, it's the rdm in the back using SP + bomb on turtle that killed it, not drk/nin with kraken.

Assuming it is 1000dmg/3sec, that would have to avg out to about 100+ dmg per hit and not missing.

uhhh orr think 50-70 hit + WS and not miss... i think they can do it if you look how fierce they are geared lor...

yea I guess it is possible if you are fully geared like that. We'll give it a try if we get lucky and get a drop.

i'll believe it when i see screenshots w. 1000dmg/3secs is 9000dmg in under half a minute - that's faster than i can boost 2 times.
